Lesson Two

Today my assignment was to take a picture of something that I like to do. This assignment was a real brain teaser. There are so many things that I like to do so what would I choose ? Here are my photographic hints !
Did you guess ? Its take a ride in the Honda and go where ? Oh you figured it out yes the real hint was the Toy "R" Us tag on the key chain. Good solve !

Now the story with this picture. Was I enthralled with the prospect of solving another puzzle or did I secretly want to visit the fire station again ? I leave that up to you.
I think that Farfar was amazed at how well I learned my first lesson on composition. He was amazed at the composition these pictures. Note in the second picture I got the puzzle and its box in the picture how is that for telling a story.......... "G"

Lesson One

I thought that I would chronicle my leap into photography by sharing my lessons with you. Today is lesson number one, the assignment was to take a picture of my play car. I just jumped right into the assignment with both feet and one camera. I pulled out the car from its parking place so that I could see it better and take advantage of the light.
In the first picture you may notice that the composition is off a bit.

So I took a few steps back, that was Farfars suggestion and took careful aim and wow a somewhat better result. I just missed a little of the top.


Then it was time to take a few more steps back and concentrate on composing the picture on the cameras screen before taking the shot. Voila I did it! The whole car was in the picture, now it was time to celebrate with a push-up ice cream.
